Mid Valley has a full range of Sunday School classes for the children and we are thankful that God has provided a wonderful staff of godly, learned and loving teachers.  During the worship service, children up through 4 years of age are invited to attend Children’s Church.

Vacation Bible School

Every summer, the children of our church and the surrounding community enjoy a week of Vacation Bible School.  There is always a flurry of activity as kids spend their morning doing crafts, playing games, singing, watching skits and learning about our awesome God.  VBS is always a wonderful success with 100+ attenders and a huge staff of volunteers.vbs-08-003.jpgvbs-08-001.jpg

Middle School Youth Group

The 5th through 8th grade students meet each week on Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM at the home of their leaders, Tom and Michelle Christensen.  They become more serious learners of the Word while having a special time of friendship, fun and snacks.

Common Ground Youth Group (High school age)

Mid Valley high school age youth join together each week with students from a number of local churches forming a “community youth group”.  They meet at Mid Valley on Sunday evenings beginning with dinner at 6:15 PM followed by lesson and prayer time.  Their leaders, Rob & Karen Allen, Mark & Kim Smith, and Jon & Sue Torrence seek to bring the kids into a deeper relationship with the Lord while building supportive and uplifting friendships.  They are active in a number of different activities during the year including the Creation Festival at the Gorge, the Revolve Tour for teenage girls, fund raising for Gospel for Asia, and local community events.  Many of our students are involved in service through Camas Meadows Bible Camp who they also support through fund raising and work parties.  You’ll find more information, updates and photo albums at their website – www.commonlygrounded.com.
